Legal
Terms & Conditions
The short version: fair terms, Swedish law, GPL software, and no surprises. Last updated 26 August 2026.
1. Who we are
These terms govern purchases and services from Area81 Solutions AB, org.nr 559099-5550 ("we", "us"), operating alexplugins.com. Contact: hello@alexplugins.com.
2. Products and licences
Our plugins are software for WordPress and WooCommerce, licensed under GPL-2.0-or-later. A purchase includes the plugin, a licence key, and — while the licence is active — automatic updates and support as described on the product page. The licence key controls update delivery and support entitlement, not your right to use the GPL code.
3. Delivery
Digital delivery is immediate: after completed payment you receive your licence key and download by email and under My Account. Updates are delivered automatically through our update platform to sites with an active licence.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown including Swedish VAT (moms) for consumers, and where applicable excluding VAT for business customers with a valid VAT number. Payment is taken at checkout through the payment methods shown there. Custom development is quoted at a fixed price before work starts; ongoing support is invoiced per service agreement or per hour, as agreed in writing.
5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)
For digital content delivered immediately, you consent at checkout to delivery beginning right away and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is thereby waived once delivery has begun, in accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler, 2005:59). If something doesn't work as described, contact us — see section 7.
6. Refunds
If a plugin does not function as described on its product page and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you get your money back. Refund requests are made to hello@alexplugins.com within 14 days of purchase.
7. Support and updates
An active licence includes updates and reasonable email support. We respond within 24 hours on business days. Updates are provided through our own update platform; we monitor WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP releases and aim to ship compatibility updates proactively. We may discontinue a product; existing licences keep working and receive security updates for a reasonable wind-down period.
8. Your obligations
You are responsible for keeping your site, WordPress core and other plugins reasonably up to date, and for backups of your own site. Licence keys are personal to the licence holder and may not be resold. A licence may be revoked in case of payment fraud or abuse; revocation stops updates and support, never your GPL rights to code already delivered.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product or service in question during the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swedish consumer law.
10. Custom development
Custom work is governed by the written quote it was ordered under. Unless the quote says otherwise: fixed price agreed before start, delivered code is GPL-2.0-or-later and owned by you, and acceptance occurs when the agreed functionality runs on your staging or production site.
11. Disputes
Swedish law applies. Consumers may turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se) or the EU online dispute resolution platform. Otherwise disputes are settled by Swedish courts with Stockholm District Court as first instance.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the version published at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Material changes are announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
